Using its distinctive method of contextual learning, the Seminary Consortium for Urban Pastoral Education (SCUPE) prepares seminary students, pastors, church leaders and community leaders to research the unique assets and needs of their communities, create strategic partnerships, and work together for justice and community transformation. Its academic courses offer tools to navigate the rich multi-cultural, multi-religious dynamics as well as the complex economic and political realities in today’s globally-connected cities. SCUPE’s programs are geared to equip leaders to change lives, revitalize congregations, and transform cities.
